Anya Anti
Anya Anti is an internationally published and award-winning photo artist specializing in on-location fine art and conceptual portraiture. Originally from Ukraine, she moved to the U.S. in 2014 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional artist. Anya creates dreamlike worlds that go beyond traditional portraiture, using beauty, symbolism, metaphor, and visual storytelling to explore fantasy, whimsy, and intangible ideas. She always uses photography as a way of collecting material to create something that is not possible to capture. Through installations, costumes, and Photoshop manipulation, she transforms her imaginative visions into finished works of art.

Every photograph starts somewhere. But for conceptual photographer Anya Anti, it starts with an idea rather than a camera. Join Anya as she takes you through her creative process, from the initial idea and sketches to conceptualization, scouting, shooting, and the final Photoshop edit. Through behind-the-scenes examples and image breakdowns, she’ll show how she turns abstract thoughts and visual ideas into finished photographs. This class is for anyone looking for a creative spark, a fresh approach to making images, or a reminder that you don’t have to simply photograph the world as it is — you can create the world you imagine.
